Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Duties

  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and verify incoming HVAC equipment, tools, and refrigerant parts against delivery receipts.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull, stage, and pack materials for daily service calls and installation jobs, ensuring technicians have exactly what they need.
  • Cycle Counts: Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile actual stock with system records.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Data Entry & Administrative Duties

  • Database Management: Log incoming shipments, outgoing parts, and material transfers into the company's Inventory/Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Flag and document damaged, defective, or missing items to process returns and warranty claims.
  • Documentation: Create delivery tickets, pull sheets, and shipping manifests.
  • Vendor & Field Communication: Update project managers and field technicians on parts availability and delivery status.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1-3 years of combined warehouse, logistics, and data entry experience. HVAC or construction industry experience is a major plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency with working knowledge of spreadsheets, ERP software, and barcode scanners.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, work in various weather conditions, and regularly lift/move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong multitasking ability, and strong problem-solving skills.
